Injectables
BOTOX® Cosmetic and JUVÉDERM® fillers are two of the most popular services we offer.
BOTOX® Cosmetic, a neurotoxin, is used to smooth out fine lines and facial wrinkles. It works by blocking signals from the nerves to the muscles, thus decreasing muscle activity. With the injected muscle unable to contract, the result is a relaxed and softened look for up to three months.*
JUVÉDERM®, on the other hand, is an injectable filler that smoothes out or plumps up the treated area by filling in the skin. The active ingredient found in dermal fillers is hyaluronic acid (HA), which is a naturally occurring substance that is naturally found in the skin. JUVÉDERM® can be used to fill in areas where collagen was lost naturally or to create definition where there previously wasn’t any (think cheekbones and lips). The results can last up to a year.*
Non-Surgical Procedures For the Body
At Lappert Skin Care we offer procedures for the entire body. Our most popular body treatments are laser hair removal and PicoSure® tattoo removal. Both rely on laser technology to break down particles for successful removal.
Laser hair removal is an efficient way to get rid of unwanted hair permanently. Using Sciton lasers, we safely remove unwanted body hair by emitting a light that is absorbed by the pigment in the hair. The light energy is then converted to heat, which damages the hair follicles, inhibiting future growth.
PicoSure® laser delivers quick pulses of laser light that shatter the pigment. The broken-up ink particles are then absorbed by your body’s lymphatic system and exit naturally. While the number of sessions needed varies depending on the color and size of the tattoo, it’s an effective way to say goodbye to any unwanted marks.
